Ferrari Aiming For Championship Three-Peat In 2014

Capturing the manufacturer championship for the second straight season in the 2013 GRAND-AM Rolex Series GT class was the latest milestone in Ferrari’s nearly 60-year North American racing history. Ferraris have competed at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring since the very first editions of these storied endurance classics. As a result, generations of fans have seen the Prancing Horse return to the podium again and again, beginning with the 860 Monza’s Sebring victory in 1956. Since then, Ferrari has never been far from the podium. Historic events like a podium sweep at the 1967 Rolex 24 At Daytona with the 330P4, and legendary wins from Mario Andretti and Jacky Ickx in the 312PB at Sebring in 1972 were followed by numerous victories with the 333SPs. These Ferraris simply dominated in the late 1990s and early 2000s at Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans.
